Every chair, every client, one calendar
Appointments, stylist commissions, chair rentals, no-show fees and back-bar consumption in one place — so the front desk stops guessing who is free at four and payday stops being an argument.
What generic POS software gets wrong here
- ✕Bookings live in a WhatsApp thread and a paper diary. Two clients get promised the same stylist at 2pm and one of them leaves.
- ✕Commission is worked out on a calculator at month end. The stylist remembers eleven colour jobs, the book shows nine, and nobody can prove either number.
- ✕Chair renters are billed by memory. Somebody is three weeks behind and you only find out when they stop showing up.
- ✕No-shows cost a full slot and cost nothing to the client, because taking a deposit means a bank transfer nobody chases.
- ✕Retail stock and back-bar stock are the same tin of relaxer. The shelf count never matches, because the service usage was never recorded.
Built for the way you actually operate
Every one of these is a real screen in SaleSprint — not a request form or a “coming soon” tile.
Appointment Calendar
A day view per stylist and a week view for the salon, with service durations built in so a three-hour weave cannot be double-booked against a trim.
Online Booking
Clients pick a service, a stylist and a slot themselves. The booking lands in the same calendar the front desk works from — no copying, no double entry.
Stylist Commissions
Set a commission rule per stylist or per service and let it accrue as tickets close. At payday the number is already there, with the tickets behind it.
Chair Rental Billing
Bill independent stylists for their chair on a recurring schedule, track who has paid, and keep their service revenue separate from the salon’s own.
No-Show Fees
Charge a deposit or a cancellation fee against the client record automatically when a slot is missed, and see the repeat offenders before you hold a Saturday morning for them.
Back-Bar Consumption
Attach the products a service actually uses, so colour, relaxer and oils come off stock when the service is rung up — and your service margin is a real number.
How a day runs
Fill the book
Walk-ins, phone calls and online bookings all land in one calendar. The front desk sees every chair and every stylist for the day on one screen.
Check the client in
Open the appointment, confirm the service, add anything extra the stylist recommends, and the ticket is already started before the client sits down.
Close the ticket
Take payment, sell the retail product on the same ticket, record the tip, and let the back-bar usage and the stylist’s commission post themselves.
Settle the day
Cash up the drawer, see revenue per stylist and per chair, check which slots went empty, and send tomorrow’s reminders.
Everything included
Typical fit
Commission used to take two evenings and end in an argument. Now the stylists can see their own accrual during the month, so by payday there is nothing left to argue about.
Questions we get
Can clients book themselves without calling the salon?
Yes. Online booking lets a client pick a service, a stylist and an open slot, and the appointment appears in the same calendar your front desk uses. You control which services are bookable online and how far ahead people can book.
We run on WhatsApp today. Can we keep using it?
Keep using it for talking to clients — SaleSprint sends appointment reminders, confirmations and receipts over WhatsApp, SMS or email. What changes is that the booking itself lives in the calendar instead of in a chat thread, so two people cannot promise the same slot.
How do commissions and chair rent work together?
They are separate. A commissioned stylist earns a percentage of the services they perform, accrued as each ticket closes. A chair renter is billed a recurring amount for their chair, and you can still track their service revenue for reporting. A stylist can be on either arrangement, and you can change it without rewriting history.
Does it work if the internet goes down mid-appointment?
Selling and closing tickets keep working offline and sync when you reconnect. Online bookings made by clients while you are offline will arrive once the connection returns, so check the calendar after an outage before you fill the slots by hand.
How much training does the front desk need?
Booking, checking in and closing a ticket is an afternoon. The calendar is the only screen most of your team ever needs. Owners spend a bit longer on commission rules and reports, and we set those up with you.
Which plan do I need?
The salon workflows come with the vertical pack, not as a paid add-on. What normally decides your tier is how many branches, users and back-office modules you want — accounting, deeper stock, advanced reporting. Our pricing page lays the tiers out, and we will tell you honestly if a smaller one covers you.
