The whole property on one folio
Room folios, minibar auto-post, group bookings, corporate accounts, rate plans and night audit — so the restaurant, the bar and the front desk all charge the same guest in the same place.
What generic POS software gets wrong here
- ✕The restaurant runs its own till and the front desk runs another. A guest signs for dinner, the docket goes missing, and the charge never reaches the room.
- ✕Checkout takes fifteen minutes because someone has to walk to the bar to ask whether room 204 had drinks last night.
- ✕A corporate client wants one monthly invoice for eleven stays. Right now that is a spreadsheet assembled by hand from eleven printed bills.
- ✕Housekeeping status lives on a clipboard. Reception sells a room that has not been cleaned, or holds one that was ready two hours ago.
- ✕Rates change by season and by channel, but the price is whatever the duty manager remembers, so the same room goes out at three different prices in a week.
Built for the way you actually operate
Every one of these is a real screen in SaleSprint — not a request form or a “coming soon” tile.
Guest Folios
One running account per stay. Room charges, restaurant, bar, laundry and extras all post to it, so checkout is a single settled bill rather than a paper chase.
Minibar Auto-Post
Housekeeping records consumption on the room, and the charge lands on the folio and comes off stock in the same action — before the guest reaches the desk.
Group Bookings & Corporate Accounts
Block rooms for a conference under one master account, route room charges to the company and extras to the guest, and invoice the corporate on their own terms.
Rate Plans & Seasonal Pricing
Define rate plans per room type with seasonal and day-of-week pricing, so the price a guest is quoted is the price the system knows — not the one a manager recalls.
Housekeeping Tasks
Room status moves from dirty to cleaned to inspected on the same board reception sells from, with tasks assigned to the staff member who is actually on that floor.
Night Audit
Post room and tax charges, roll the business date, reconcile outlet takings against folios, and start the morning with a closed and balanced day behind you.
How a day runs
Check in
Assign the room against a rate plan, open the folio, and record the guest or the corporate account that will settle it. Housekeeping sees the room go occupied.
Charge during the stay
Restaurant, bar, spa and laundry post straight to the folio from their own outlets. Minibar consumption posts from housekeeping and comes off stock.
Check out
Review one folio, split it between guest and company if you need to, take any tender, and issue the receipt or the invoice. The room flips to dirty for housekeeping.
Night audit
Roll the business date, post the day’s room and tax charges, reconcile every outlet, and look at occupancy, average rate and revenue per room before the next shift starts.
Everything included
Typical fit
Checkout used to mean phoning the bar. Now everything is already on the folio by the time the guest walks to the desk, and mornings are quiet.
Questions we get
Does the restaurant and bar need a separate system?
No, and that is the point. The outlets run SaleSprint’s restaurant and bar POS, and a charge signed by a guest posts straight to their folio instead of onto a docket that has to be carried to reception.
Can I connect an online travel agent or booking channel?
SaleSprint manages your rooms, rates, availability and folios in-house. It does not ship a channel manager connection to a specific OTA today, so bookings that arrive from a channel are entered against the rate plan they were sold on. If that is central to your property, tell us before you sign so nobody is surprised.
How do corporate accounts get billed?
You set up the company as an account with its own credit limit and terms, route room charges to it while leaving extras on the guest folio, and issue one consolidated invoice for the period. Outstanding balances sit in your receivables and age like any other debtor.
What happens during a power cut or an internet outage?
The outlets keep selling offline and sync when the connection returns. Front-desk work on the same local network keeps operating too. The practical advice is to run the night audit once you are back online so the day closes against complete data.
How long does it take to get a property live?
For a small hotel or guest house, setting up room types, rate plans, outlets and users is usually a matter of days rather than weeks. The parts that take longest are your rate structure and the chart of accounts, and we work through both with you.
Can I run more than one property from one account?
Yes. Each property is a location with its own rooms, rates, staff and permissions, and the group dashboard rolls occupancy, rate and revenue up across all of them while letting you drill into a single site.
