What generic POS software gets wrong here
- ✕The prescription is a piece of paper in a drawer. When the patient comes back for a refill, nobody at the counter can see what was dispensed, by whom, or how many repeats are left.
- ✕A generic till sells a pack. It does not know the pack was cut, that the strength differs from the one prescribed, or that this patient is already on something that interacts with it.

Does SaleSprint submit claims directly to my insurance scheme?
SaleSprint builds the claim from the lines you actually dispensed — scheme, member, items, quantities and the co-pay split — and lets you export and reconcile it. It does not plug into a specific national or private scheme portal on your behalf, so the submission step stays yours. Tell us which scheme you work with and we will be straight with you about what that means for your workflow.
How good is the drug interaction check?
It checks against what the patient is recorded as taking in your system and flags the pairs you have configured, then logs the pharmacist’s decision. It is a safety net for the counter, not a substitute for a clinical reference or your professional judgement, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Can the controlled-drug register replace my physical book?
The digital register logs every receipt, supply and adjustment with the staff member, quantity and running balance, and it reconciles against stock. Whether it replaces the paper book depends on what your regulator accepts, so most pharmacies run both for a period and then decide.
What happens if the power or the internet goes out?
You keep dispensing and selling. Sales and dispensing are held on the device and sync as soon as you reconnect. If you have several branches, each one is independent during the outage and reconciles into the group view afterwards.
Can I import my product file from my current system?
Yes — products, strengths, pack sizes, prices and current stock come in from a spreadsheet, and batches with expiry dates can come in with them. Bring your existing export and we will map it with you on the first call rather than making you learn a template alone.
Does it work with my barcode scanner and label printer?
Standard USB or Bluetooth barcode scanners work with no setup. Receipt and label printing uses standard thermal printers with layouts you control, so dispensing labels and till receipts can differ. Check the model with us before buying new hardware.
